Gualtiero Pelloni established Latterie Carsiche in 1970 with a major project inspired by his land of origin, Emilia, cradle of the finest dairy production and ancient traditions, home to Parmigiano Reggiano and Parma Prosciutto.

The company headquarters is located in Duino, a town embedded within the Carso hills: a splendid landscape.
The Primula Rossa (scarlet pimpernel) originally designed by Luisa, Gualtiero's first born niece, has developed into a well known brand.
Supported by his family, Gualtiero achieved his primary goal: to serve the community with commitment and constant dedication by promoting and selling his products well beyond the regional borders.
Milk, butter, cream, cheese and ice cream branded Primula are recognized and appreciated in all households, as well as the Parmigiano Reggiano, skillfully selected and seasoned.

Duino's beautiful coastal location, set between hills and sea, city and countryside, favors the production and the ripening of many traditional cheeses: Carsolino, Miramar and San Giusto.
The Bar Bianco (Milk Bar) is a regional landmark, where customers are offered a unique food shopping experience while enjoying a delicious glass of chocolate milk with whipped cream.

The new Latterie Carsiche plant, built in Villesse (GO) in 1998, is one of the most advanced dairy production facilities in the region: traditional craftsmanship and advanced technology meet to ensure highest quality standard in total harmony with the environment.
Villesse is now the center or all production and distribution: through constant innovation we pursue the challenging goals set by modern society, yet preserving historical values and traditions in daily food choice.
